In the case of a desperate need, I may be willing to take a popup from my sales inventory if all rental campers are taken and you are willing to pay $50 more for the rental period. Call to ask if you are in this situation. I will donate $100 to the American Cancer Society if this situation materializes.  Since 2015 I have donated $850 due to overbooking.

Reservations need to be made at least 2 days prior to the rental date. The rental agreement needs to be signed with 2 checks (Pay to the order of: Scott Kirner) ; 1 check for full rental payment and 1 check for the refundable security deposit ($250).  The agreement and checks will need to be sent to Scott Kirner, W14357 Jensen Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI  53578.  When I receive the agreement and checks I will call or email you to confirm the rental .  Call if you have not heard from me within 3 days of sending the agreement.

A full refund will be made after inspection of the returned camper. The renting party is subject to losing the $250.00 security deposit if there is damage that requires repairs and/or replacing of parts. Rental agreement cancellation penalty fee: Canceling the rental more than 14 days from the agreed rental start date will incur a $100 fee, canceling 14 days or less from the start date will incur a $200 cancellation fee.

The pop-up camper is rented “as is”. The pop-up is rented without a uniform commercial code warranty. The renter agrees to “hold harmless” the owner Scott Kirner and Kirner Campers LLC. for any defects in the pop-up. There are no warranties, expressed or implied as to the pop-up, including warranties of merchantability.

I (party renting the camper) will agree to not hold Scott Kirner or Kirner Campers, LLC. liable for any accidents that may occur during the transport or use of the pop-up camper being rented. Please remember that a pop-up offers no protection from a thunderstorm or other serious weather conditions (seek safe shelter for your protection).

Do not force any procedure of the set-up or take down, if something seems stuck or not functioning properly, take the time to look for the cause of the problem. Problems usually occur because of operator error. If there should be any problem with the pop-up, the renting party will need to make his/her best effort to contact Scott Kirner so the problem can be solved/repaired ASAP. Minimally, the renting party will need to call my cell (608) 220-9118 and discuss the problem or leave a detailed message. It will be the renting parties responsibility to repair the damage and return the camper on time if a problem occurs more than 100 miles from Madison, WI. The renting party must report (in writing) any problems or damage when the camper is returned if there is to be any consideration of the security deposit return.
